At United Way, our mission has always been to mobilize our city’s collective generosity, because we know there’s strength in numbers. We work together with hundreds of nonprofits across our six-county region and help 1 in 3 Kansas Citians gain access to health, education, and financial resources. United Way connects those who want to be catalysts for change with causes that change our community for the better. The Waymakers make this possible.

They help us forge a new way forward, working daily to ensure that all members of our community thrive in health, education, and financial stability. The Waymakers don’t just find a way. They make a new way forward. A more united way forward.

United Way mobilizes people and resources and invests them in the highest-impact nonprofits, programs, and projects throughout the region. We collaborate with our partners to come up with smart, sustainable solutions to both short- and long-term community challenges.
