The United Way of Lamar County is a leader in our community to provide resources that help elevate education, health and financial stability. We run a rent and utility assistance program that allows families to stay safely in their homes, offer free tax preparation and filing every year (VITA), hold financial literacy classes, provide college scholarships, and host a kids marathon, Texas Scholars program, Career Shadow Days, summer reading programs and fund over 22 partner agencies.
