United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region fights for the health, educaition, and financial stability of every person living in our community. As the area's premiere impact organization, United Way serves as a catalyst to coordinate a large scale collaborative network that increases the capacity of our region and improve the lives of our neighbors. 

Following are our current strategic goals:

- Health: Increase access to healthy food for families in our community.
- Veterans: Program staff and volunteers will increase access to affordable housing and legal services for veterans and their families.
- Financial Stability: Improve access to resources to alleviate short-term financial crisis in order to increase local families’ economic position.
- Education: Increase opportunities for positive youth development and literacy services.
- Education: Develop opportunities for lifelong learning to increase skill-based development.
