Founded in 1966, University Parents Nursery School (UPNS) is more than just a preschool – it is a truly special place that emphasizes community, parent participation, and volunteerism. Through patience, nurturing and love, UPNS's dedicated teachers employ a play-based curriculum to develop toddlers (ages 2-5) into independent, empathetic, socially-adjusted kindergarteners. Parent volunteers assist teachers in class, help clean and maintain the premises, and provide necessary support to the staff -- all of which contributes to the overwhelming sense of family and community shared by the children, parents and staff of UPNS.
