This request is on behalf of University Presbyteran Children's Center (UPCC), located right next to Trinity University. As a vitl part of our neighborhood, UPCC serves as the comunity school that is open all year round. We take pride in being a Nature Explore Certified Outdoor Classroom and a National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Certified institution. Our center is dedicated to providing quality education and care for infants, toddlers, preschool and school-aged children from Monday throught Friday.
UPCC Purpose:
Education at University Presbyterian Children's Center's develops young children's minds, bodies, and emotions, and assists in the development of individuals who are self-directed, life long learners by:
Generating a relaxed atmosphere of openness, spontaneity, creativity, joy, and love.
Providing an array of stimulating activites to promote aestetic and cultural awareness, academic readiness, motor development, and social skills.
Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and respect for others, along with a sense of belonging and sharing in a group.
Offering loving support to each child and family through a positive, reciprocal relationship based on trust.
