Urban Street Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 to address youth homelessness in San Diego, California and beyond. We operate emergency overnight shelters for up to 25 homeless youth at two locations in the county, with more opening shortly. These shelters help us attend to the immediate needs of homeless youth between the ages of 18 to 25, and are a key cornerstone of our outreach efforts. Many of our shelter youth join our 8 West program, which aims to end youth homelessness by providing supportive housing and job training to cultivate personal responsibility.
We are supported in our mission by the generosity of our donors and a valued partnership with the County of San Diego HHSA/MHSA.
