Our mission is to serve expanding audiences through quality communication services that are informative, innovative, educational and stimulating. Programming is expected to expand the listener's awareness of his/her world, and to present that which the listener may not know exists. About 50% of our programming comes from National Public Radio and the other 50% is locally produced. We are the only station in the Central Valley that airs classical music. We also produce a variety of local programs that showcase local talent. Archives of our programs can be found at www.kvpr.org. All of our fundraising efforts go towards supporting the cost of programming.
