Van Cortlandt Park Alliance (VCPA) preserves, supports, and promotes the recreational, ecological, and historical value of Van Cortlandt Park. VCPA’s primary goals are to elevate the public profile of the park, expand education programming, attract public and private funds for capital projects, entice visitors with cultural programming, and preserve and protect its precious, open parkland, native forest, freshwater bodies, and recreational space in the densely-populated city of New York. VCPA accomplishes its mission and goals by providing educational, volunteer, cultural, maintenance, restoration, and research programs.
