The Firefly Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center provides multidisciplinary, trauma-informed care to pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder and their children. From prenatal care and medications for opioid use disorder to group therapy, social work, peer recovery support, and free diapers, Firefly seeks to support women and families by meeting both physical and psychosocial needs.

Firefly's mission is to nurture lifelong recovery and remove barriers to sustained health for pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorder and their children. Firefly serves ~350 women/year in Middle Tennessee and their infants, and is based in the Center for Women's Health at Vanderbilt One Hundred Oaks. Firefly's diverse care team is comprised of OB/GYNs, addiction medicine specialists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, pediatricians, Early Infant Development specialists, social workers, peer recovery specialists, lactation consultants, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative support staff.
