Established in 1955, the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens (VBGCQ)
continues to carry out our tradition of uplifting and empowering
generations of young people. Our mission is to enable all young people,
especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as
productive, caring, responsible citizens. We specialize in providing
children ages 6-18 with the highest quality programming and pride
ourselves in being the largest youth development organization in
Western Queens, serving over 4,000 young people each year. Whether a
child dreams of becoming an engineer, a filmmaker or an all-star athlete,
our afterschool, summer camp, aquatics and weekend programs support
them in realizing their aspirations.
