The founder of Vessels With Purpose, Ms. Cynthia Thomas, worked as a Sub-Federal Contractor under Prime Federal Contractor for several years. In 2004, She found herself with her contract not being renewed and began praying to God to touch the decision-makers hearts and renew her contract. During her prayer time, God spoke to her and said he wanted her to work with children.
In 2007, she began working with foster care agencies and became a foster parent, and in 2016 she established her non-profit organization. In 2018, the Vessels With Purpose Child Placing agency started the pursuit to service children in foster care and developed foster parents who would become Vessels to care for and nurture youth in crisis.

Vessels with Purpose Child Placing Agency is a private, non-profit agency committed to working with underserved children and their families. Our organization was established in 2016 to provide a clearly defined path and in-depth assistance for children and parents, ensuring that children transition successfully from early childhood to adulthood.
Our Mission
Vessels with Purpose will operate a community-based Child Placing Agency for children and their families in Texas. Our mission is to establish and maintain a culture of integrity and compassion. We will harbor a judge-free environment to encompass the resources, support, and guidance for nurturing and growth in the lives of children.
Our Philosophy
Vessels with Purpose Child Placing Agency's foster care philosophy is to create a supportive network around the youth and their family to reunify the home. Vessels With Purpose Foster Parents are motivated by the passion for serving an audience of victimized children without a voice to become empowered victors!

Our parents receive ongoing training and email alerts. We also send our handouts to ensure everyone continues to stay informed.
