VEG Fort Worth is hosting a Silent Auction Contributing all proceeds to VEG CARES.

 

 

What the heck is VEG CARES?. VEG Cares is VEG’s charitable program working in partnership with the 501(c)(3) Veterinary Care Foundation (VCF). 

VEG Cares works off of donations. These donations go into a fund which each hospital can use to cover the cost of a treatment or surgery for a pet whose parent cannot pay. 

VEG Cares works with VCF to cover the fees so all donations go directly to grants to help animals in need.

 

How does one get VEG CARES?
At the discretion of the attending emergency doctor with approval by the HM and/or the MD: 
You believe the animal is likely to recover from treatment/surgery and has a chance for a good quality of life for a substantial amount of time afterwards. 
A responsible party will be taking care of the pet going forward.
The pet parent is in financial distress/ has financial need 
OR is a service/police/fire animal 
OR the animal has been displaced due to natural disaster 
OR is an animal under the care of a shelter or rescue organization.

I am asking for our incredible partners in the community to  donate to the Silent Auction, Deadline for donation is DEC 5th.
