Our PTA raises funds each year to provide enrichment opportunities and ensure that each student's needs are met. We are a Title 1 school, which means that we have a large population of low-income families. Fundraising in the past couple of years has allowed us to enhance and maintain a school garden, send every class on a field trip, install benches for outdoor reading and study space, host assemblies, provide new outdoor play equipment, and more. We fill in the gaps where state and district funds fall short, and the things PTA provides are often the things that make students excited to go to school.
