Vienna Elementary School is a North Carolina School of Excellence serving 800 students. Our
PTA is dedicated to supporting our teachers and staff through fundraisers and by volunteering
countless hours. In 2019-20, our volunteers logged more than 20,000 hours to support the needs of
our students and staff!
Vienna is currently looking for sponsors, partnerships and donations from local and regional
businesses for the ‘22-‘23 school year. With continued challenges related to the state’s education
budget, the importance of PTA fundraising and support cannot be overstated. Last year, the Vienna
PTA funded teacher requests for additional professional training. We also purchased new
technology, curriculum materials, and classroom supplies that otherwise would not have been
funded. We served our students by purchasing online educational program licenses, upgraded our
playground equipment/outdoor spaces, and provided special incentive treats.
The fundraising each year encompases events throughout the school calendar. Some, like our
annual Fall Festival, are community wide with over 1,000 people in attendance. Others, like our
Fun Run, is an in-school event for the kids. Each sponsor and donor has the opportunity to provide
a positive impact on the kids and families in the Pfafftown/Winston-Salem community.
