We are a small, parent cooperative preschool serving families in Daly City, as well as our neighbors in San Francisco, Pacifica, and South San Francisco. We give both children and their families a creative and nurturing place to grow, and hundreds of families have found their home at Village in our well-established school’s 70-year duration. Our mission is to not only provide education for our students, but for our parents, families, and staff, and to foster a sense of community.
Village offers a play-based, child-centered curriculum where the children learn through “hands-on” experiences with a variety of materials in their environment. Our free choice activities include project of the day, dancing & singing, water table, playdough, blocks, art and reading. Outside, we have a beautiful fenced-in playground with swings, a large climbing structure, slide, playhouse, and space to run. We also have a wide variety of outdoor toys for developing gross motor skills like balance beams, foam building blocks, balls, and spinning seats.
