The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois works to eliminate domestic vioelnce in the lives of individuals and society as a whole. We believe that all people deserve to be free from harm, to be respected, and to determine and pursue their own goals. We serve over 12,000 survivors of domestic violence through an emergency shelter, legal advocacy, and counseling. All of these lifesaving services are provided free of charge to survivors and their children.
