The Virginia Children's Chorus is an independent children’s chorus with students from ages 5 to 18. Our mission is to bring the best possible choral education to our students and to give them varied and meaningful opportunities to express themselves in concert. Our goal is to reach out to more student singers in Hampton Roads through music instruction, our performances and through scholarship assistance when needed.
Twenty-one percent of our students are receiving tuition assistance through our scholarship fund. We collaborate each season with both youth and adult arts organization from around Hampton Roads including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Arts Festival.
