Visitation BVM is a Catholic Church in Norristown, PA. We have a school and religious education program serving about 800 children. Our active sports program and youth organization serve both grade school and high school students. Our parish is made up of about 3400 families, and we have many organizations who serve parishioners as well as the community we live in. A unique outreach program our Parish started three years ago is our No Greater Love Garden. This year alone we have provided over 5000 pounds of fresh produce to a food bank in Norristown. In three years, we have donated close to 18,000 pounds! We were recently featured on a community corner piece on WPVI 6ABC. It is truly a team effort with everyone from our students growing the plants in their greenhouse in the off season, to the senior citizen who helps weed and harvest the produce each week. Our Bazaar generates much needed funds to support our outreach.
