We raise money through tax-deductible donations in order to help pay for the legal fees for the wrongfully convicted.
At least 2 people a day are wrongfully convicted. 47% of all wrongful convictions are of Black people. We have a racist justice system that was designed to benefit only those in the majority. Here, at Voiceless Behind Bars, we want to help dismantle this racist "justice" system by helping innocent people get out of prison, and back home where they belong.
