Volunteer services cares and support the residence that live at the San Angelo State Supported living center. The facility house approximently 150 individuals with intellectual and mental diabilities, ranging in age 14 to 97. Each year the VSC invests over $30,000 into programs and events at the facility rhat directly effects the residents. The VSC also provides clothing, underwear, coats and shoes. We also do fun events such as parties, swimming, birthday meal and so much more.
The VSC is an independent organization and is not funded by the state. We rely solely on grants and donations.
