Waco Sunrise Rotary Club is located in Waco, TX. Our impact is all over Central Texas and beyond. Internationally we are partnered with thousands of other clubs to end polio worldwide. We are currently partnered with several clubs to bring water to a community in Africa that will be self-sustainable within 3 years.
Waco Sunrise Rotary Club is just a small part of Rotary International whose 7 areas of service are:
· Promoting peace
· Fighting disease
· Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
· Saving mothers and children
· Supporting education
· Growing local economies
· Protecting the Environment
Every year we hold a fundraiser benefitting many in the community. From assisting the Waco Family Abuse Center, providing scholarships to those wishing to pursue further education, adopting families at Christmas with food and gifts for their children, to erecting a community library. And it’s only the beginning…
Basically, we are a bunch of do-gooders, who, like you, wish to do more for those less fortunate. Your in-kind or monetary donations and donated items will make these things possible. By providing products or sponsoring our event in one way or another, you are helping make someone else’s life better. Last year we raised more than ever before and we have until June 30th to finish spending it. Then we start all over and plan our projects for the following year. So, we’re not done yet! Your generous donation this year will assure that we can continue to bless the community in more ways and reach more people that are in a position to need assistance. We do not distribute monies, but help with projects of other non-profits (like providing mulch and putting it down at the Waco Family Abuse Center) or purchasing gifts and toys and food for needy families at Christmas.
We solicit gifts and donated items from cities all over the US to help us in our endeavors. We'd love for you to help however you are able.
