For 46 years we have been providing critical services to empower youth, help them resolve personal and family problems, prevent violence and abuse, and promote safe and stable homes, healthy youth and strong families.
Our programs incluyde immediate help available 24 hours a day through our emergency shelter, crisis hotline and drop-in counseling for youth 11-17; longer-term transitional housing and supportive services for young people ages 18-25.
In our last program year, we provided 115 youth with face-to-face services, including emergency shelter and/or transitional housing. We took 1,480 crisis calls in the last year. Almost all of these youth (94%) returned to the home from which they ran or had found a safe and acceptable alternative home at the end of the program.
