The Walnut Creek Aquanuts is a world-renowned synchronized swimming club based in Walnut Creek, CA. Our mission is to develop athletes from novice to elite, building both bodies and minds and instilling skills that will serve our swimmers throughout their lifetime. Today, fifty-four years and ten Olympic Games later, WCA remains a consistent powerhouse on the regional, national and global stage. The Walnut Creek Aquanuts has earned over 200 National and World titles. The club has sent 17 athletes to Olympic Games, and 7 current coaches are Olympians. In addition to placing athletes on Olympic and National Teams, many of the club’s alumnae continue their athletic careers at the NCAA level of Division I schools like Stanford University and The Ohio State University. Regardless of an alum’s career length, the discipline and work ethic they learn with the Aquanuts gives them tools to thrive at Ivy League and other top universities. Our alumnae go on to become executives, doctors, lawyers, investment bankers as well as many other successful career paths.
