The mission for Walnut Street Theatre's Education Program is to foster a love of learning about all aspects of theatre, to enrich the lives of children-particularly those living in poverty– and adults and their communities, to make theatre accessible to all and provide a means of participation in theatre to all, to build audiences for tomorrow, to infuse schools with arts integrated curricula and to encourage the dreams of students young and old to use theatre as a vessel for creative expression, personal growth, skill attainment, and as a means to realize those dreams.
