We believe that aging with diginity is the right of all seniors regardless of their ability to pay for housing and healthcare as they age. More than one-third of the residents at Warm Hearth Village are considered low-income by federal guidelines. The Warm Hearth Foundation employs its resources to educate and advocate on behalf of seniors who spend down and need assistance with the cost of assisted living, long-term care and related services. In addition we operate a food pantry called Micah's Pantry to provide assistance in the form of food, personal care items, household cleaning products, and pet food/supplies for low-income seniors in subsidized housing on the campus of Warm Hearth Village. Annually we provide assistance to an average of 35-45 seniors in healthcare services and an average of 120 seniors monthly through Micah's Pantry.
