Jackson Elementary is a top-ranked public Pre-K-Grade 6 school in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. Jackson’s focus on academic excellence, innovative learning experiences, and emotional intelligence has earned distinctions as an IB World School, a Georgia School of Excellence, and a Cognia STEM certified school. Jackson’s PTO— made up of over 40 committees that touch all areas of school life—supports Jackson’s students, teachers, families, and staff through curriculum enhancements such as STEAM and literacy programs; community events; teacher grants as well as teacher appreciation; fine arts programs; and student activities. Indeed, most of the programs that keep our school ranked as one of the best elementary options in Atlanta are wholly supported by the PTO through fundraising and volunteer initiatives.
