We're Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring in Maryland. Woven into the fabric of our community, we deliver healthy, delicious food to our homebound neighbors. Guided by this mission, we work toward our vision of a more compassionate, reilient and interconnected community. We serve our clients by preparing piping hot fresh meals in our small commercial kitchen each day, and volunteers deliver those meals with a smile and friendly greeting. Our small staff is supported by amazing, dedicated volunteers who make our program possible and by an integral community of donors. In 2023, our kitchen (staffed by one cook and over 150 volunteers) prepared 55,642 meals, which were delivered to 236 clients by another 150 colunteers. We make a real diffeence in the loves of our cliets!
