the PTO’s singular goal is to help make Washington the best school for our children and their teachers. We do this by sponsoring community events, showing our appreciation to the teachers and support staff, and funding special projects that enhance our students’ experience here at Washington.
The purpose of the Washington School PTO is to supplement and enrich the educational experiences for the children at Washington School and to provide opportunties to develop meaningful community connections that last well beyond the five years that children spend at Washington School. This is accomplished by -
--Promoting the health, safety and welfare of students of Washington School.
--Fostering ongoing communication between parent/guardians and teachers/administration in order to cooperate intelligently in the education of Washington School students.
--Enriching the quality of life in Washington School by selecting, funding and managing projects to benefit Washington School students, in conjunction with the Washington School administration, that are not funded within the school budget.
