Waterford Country School (WCS) has existed since 1922—a century of service in southeastern Connecticut! This year, we are planning our Annual “Bring Your Mojo” Golf Tournament honoring the memory of Gary “Mr. Six” Saunders; a member of the founding family of WCS. The event will take place at the Great Neck Country Club. WCS supports children and families with special needs. Participant children and families come from all areas of Connecticut.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the children and families we serve. In addition, we rescue animals who find a forever home on our farm, nature center, and wildlife. We rescue a diverse range of animals, from horses and goats to ducks and rabbits. Our license allows us to rehabilitate injured wildlife. Our responsibility to conserve the planet and care for animals in need is something we teach children to uphold. Children learn about the environment and animals every day, as well as how to care for them. This intervention is a powerful and magical way to bring families and children back together. On our site, we foster flourishing relationships, build trust, and facilitate reunification.
