Waterloo Region Family Network (WRFN) recognizes the growing demand for disability support and endeavors to bridge the gap between the needs of families and individuals and the available resources. Serving as a central hub in the region, WRFN aims to raise awareness about the services and resources accessible to those with exceptional needs. Our commitment lies in inclusivity, as we strive to address each unique situation. Our existing programs have achieved remarkable success, leaving a positive impact on every individual in the community. We are determined to sustain and expand these programs, reaching out to as many people as possible, all while maintaining the high quality of service we provide.
WRFN adds substantial value by removing barriers and offering services to a specific population of children, youth, adults, and families. Our objective is to eliminate the challenges faced by families and individuals with exceptional needs, promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in our services and programs, and expand our network to serve clients from all backgrounds. Additionally, WRFN serves as a public advocate, raising awareness and understanding about the unique needs of our members. Through these inclusive approaches, we ensure that our existing programs are accessible to individuals and families with diverse needs.

Mandate: WRFN fills a gap in Waterloo Region, by facilitating peer connections and sharing community resources. Through our innovative community partnership model and strong network, we support individuals both with and without a diagnosis, creating life-long impact.
