The small school culture of Watsonville Charter School of the Arts provides a high-quality educational alternative for local families. We believe that life-long learning takes root in a safe school climate that honors individuality, diversity, and respect for differences. Teachers, parents, and students are actively involved in fostering a collaborative community rich in creativity, artistic expression, and intellectual curiosity.
Our school serves nearly 400 k-8 students; nearly 75 percent are from low-income families.
At the WCSA Home & School Club, we support WCSA through a wide variety of programs, unique to our school. We coordinate both large and small fundraisers throughout the school year. The net income derived from these efforts is used to expand the arts, integrate technology in the classroom, build a positive school-learning environment, and school improvement projects.
Our Mission The WCSA Home & School Club’s primary objective is to provide our students, teachers, and families with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich the education of our children. To meet this important objective, and afford services that are no longer covered by our school budget, we must fundraise.
