The mission of Waxahachie Junior Service League is to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic conditions of Ellis County. Our goal is to provide volunteer services and donate funds to strengthen and improve these conditions in our community.Each year we donate to various organizations throughout our community, as well as sponsor the WJSL Community Service Scholarships which are given to Ellis County High School Seniors. WJSL members volunteer their time on a weekly basis at several non profit organizations whose main focus is on local women and children. WJSL members volunteer approximately 2,500 hours of service each year as a whole.
