New Year’s Greetings from We Can Ride, where lives are changing every day! We Can Ride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based organization which connects horses and humans to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities and meet the evolving needs of the greater community. Our tax ID number is 41-1433903.
We serve more than 275 clients every year, with an ever-growing waitlist seeking our help. In addition to our clients with disabilities, we responded to the unique opportunities presented by the Pandemic to forge new partnerships and support a broader cross-section of the community. Equine Connections, a program new to We Can Ride in 2020, provides support and stress relief to the first responders most impacted by Covid-19. Through Equine Assisted Learning, we are providing a bright spot for residents of local group homes where they can focus on the comfort a therapy horse brings. With a spirit of adventure and innovation, We Can Ride people and ponies continue to reach those who need us the most.
