Mission
To educate the public, preserve and research the Webber family of Texas and their endeavors in the aid of others seeking freedom in Mexico by way of the Underground Railroad into Mexico and other individuals that were involved in that heroic endeavor, enabling people to better understand the history of race in Texas, The United States, Mexico, and The Borderlands, the consequences of that history both then, and now.

Vision
This organizations goals are to further the research and preservation in the history of the Webber family of Texas, the Webber Cemetery, and other individuals examples in the pursuit of freedom on the journey to Mexico by way of the Underground Railroad into Mexico by the following initiatives:

•Creating K-12 historical resources and teaching information 

•Obtaining a perpetuity grant for the preservation of the John and Silvia Webber Ranch Cemetery in Hidalgo County Texas
•Application and approval for an undertold history marker by the Texas Historical Commission
•Application for listings through the National Parks registry of National Historical Markers as an independent site and as part of a historicalCorridor/district
•Application for a UNESCO world heritage designation site.
•Creating community outreach and public educational initiatives with local community leaders and organizations

•Compiling and creating exhibits with museums, libraries, archives, and Universities in Texas, the Borderlands, and across the United States
•Compiling a complete historical record of John & Sylvia, their children, and Connecting it to modern day living descendants

What We've Accomplished 

•Successfully applied for and obtained a historical marker through the Texas Historical Commissiono’s “Undertold History“ program

•Organized a Texas approved IRS pending 501 ( C ) (3) nonprofit organization

•Worked with various Museums, Archives, Journalists, and Organizations to speak at and collaborate with to raise awareness and educate the public about the Webber Family and their history as well as the history of all those involved in the Underground Railroad to Mexico

•Successfully had the historic Webber Ranch Cemetety put into county records ensuring its care for perpetuity.

•Conducted research to further uncover and understand the lives of the brave Freedom Fighters and their allies and put their names on their stories to recognize and give them the acknowledgment they have been denied by history.

What's Next 

Establish a Trust for the Historic Webber Ranch Cemetery

Apply for a United States National Historical Marker as well as a UNESCO world heritage site

•Establish an archive repository for a central location to access inform information and documents related to the Webber’s and other individuals involved in the Fight for Freedom

•Create a public education program for children and higher education institutions

•Establish a network to aid others in the fight to preserve their ancestors legacies and stories and protect their cemeteries, land, and documents.
