PURPOSE: The purposes of the West Plains High School Band Boosters are to support and promote the West Plains High School Band and its feeder schools; to provide financial support for unique projects that promote the band program, but are outside of the domain and purpose of school district revenue; to encourage growth and development of a quality band program that complements and extends the educational options for young people, both collectively and individually; and to distribute information on programs and projects that will attract a large, active group of band parents from all involved grade levels, and other interested individuals in the community.

The Wolfpack Regiment consists of approximately 110 band students. Established in 2022, the band’s accomplishments include: in 2022, the band was named
Outstanding Band in their 4A classification at the High Plains Marching festival, placed 2nd and
received Best in Class at The Lubbock Westerner Festival, received straight 1’s at UIL Region Marching Contest, 4A AREA CHAMPIONS, advanced to the STATE marching contest in San Antonio and placed 14th in the State of Texas. In 2023, the band was named High Plains Marching Festival Champions, received straight 1’s at UIL Region Marching Contest, crowned REPEAT 4A AREA CHAMPIONS, and placed 10th in the STATE of TEXAS! This is just the beginning, and that is why we are asking you for your financial support to continue to grow the success of the West Plains Marching Band Program.
