Over 30 years ago, Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network, Inc. (WNYPBN) was created
to address the gap in services available to parents and families who have experienced the loss of
their child due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or early infant death. WNYPBN became a
501c(3) Non-profit in 2010. The need for support has grown as the knowledge deficits of life after
perinatal loss, across many professional domains, lends to families going unheard and
underserviced. Today, we are an essential resource for bereaved families and professionals across
the eight counties of WNY. Our goal remains to assist as many families as possible through what is, a
lifetime journey of healing.
