My name is Jen Dixon and I am the PTO Co-President for Westfield Community School, Algonquin IL. We are a PreK - 8th grade school with about 200 staff members and almost 1400 students. 

With all that being said, Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up in May. I am asking community businesses to donate some items to raffle off to our amazing staff members that run our school. I say staff members, because we don’t exclude anyone from this weeklong event. Our teachers are awesome as well as the support staff, Specials Teachers who run our music, gym, art and media programs, the janitors and admin team.

We have a Gift Giving Tuesday. We raffle off the items you donates to our staff members' and our principal announces who our winners are over morning announcements. It’s truly exciting to hear the staff appreciates this day and they love it! It brings up morale in our school.
