The Westpark PTA is currently soliciting donations of Merchandise or Gift Cards for the upcoming Worlds of Westpark (WOW) celebration. This year our event is to be held June 2, 2017. This event is our annual celebration of the cultural diversity of our students and their families. We enjoy an afternoon of cultural performances, foods, and art with a carnival feel. During the event, we hold an equal opportunity drawing of gift baskets comprised of donated merchandise, food and gift cards. Funds raised during this event help fund programs, provide during and after school activities and support school-wide initiatives for our more than 800 Transitional Kindergarten through Sixth Grade students, as well as our teachers and staff.
In past years, the PTA, through generous donations, has helped to fund educational assemblies, field trips, a shade structure, physical education courses, school nurses and other support staff, and staff appreciation and reward programs. Your donation will be used to assist the PTA in providing much needed support of our ongoing activities.
We appreciate your consideration in providing us with a tax deductible donation. The Westpark PTA’s Tax ID number is 33-047-9508. Please retain this request letter for your tax records. A donation receipt can also be provided upon request. Donations received by May 1 will be included in our WOW Flyer and those by May 15 will be included in our WOW program.
