Wildlife SOS works in India to conserve and protect wildlife. People are familiar with us for two major accomplishments. We were able to bring an end to the 'dancing bear' problem in India and we have opened India's first chain free elephant rescue center that is equipped with the first dedicated elephant hospital. Our focus today is saving India's elephants. Asian elephants are highly endangered and most of the herds left today are found in India. Saving this species is heavily dependent on what we can do in India.
Much of our work is done by partnering with communities, so that that people work with us vs. against us to impact the changes needed.
