William Land Elementary Parent Teacher Association provides enrichment programs for the students and parents, as well as provides support for the teachers and staff of William Land Elementary. It serves about 400 students in the heart of downtown Sacramento where nearly 88% are minority students, and more than half are economically disadvantaged. The PTA often supplements funding from adding arts and science integration units, literacy programs, leader in me programs to providing the a homeless student with basic needs such as a backpack. This is the first in person fundraiser in the last 2 and half years and we are excited to bring back our annual fall carnival space themed "To William Land and Beyond" and Raffled gift baskets to bring back tradition and spirit to our school.
