The mission of Wilmington Community Clinic (WCC) is to provide quality, non-discriminatory healthcare regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Since 1977, WCC has served low-income, uninsured, and largely Hispanic residents of the Los Angeles area with an array of primary and preventative healthcare services. We began by serving children and women and as demand and need grew, have now evolved into a comprehensive and trusted medical home for our community, offering medical, dental, educational, and behavioral/mental health services, as well as providing linkage to other low and no cost specialty healthcare and social services. WCC serves nearly 8000 individuals across all age groups with bilingual, culturally sensitive care in a safe and compassionate environment.

We offer mobile clinic services and two locations to serve our community, the second of which is located on the campus of Wilmington Middle School through collaboration with the Los Angeles Unified School District. We offer TB and vaccination services, health education, general medicine, and pediatric services on site, with transportation services available. WCC serves a primarily working-class population, and the ability to offer early-hours convenient on-campus health services to working parents and their children has proved to be an enormous benefit, particularly for parents who have children with special needs.
