Our PTA is a fantastic group of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members working together to benefit Windsor. Windsor is not a Title I school, so the only funding and support we receive is from YOU and community sponsors. We as a PTA want to provide a fun-loving school for, not only our children to enjoy, but our teachers & staff.
Our past fundraising efforts and sponsorships have afforded our students and staff some of the following: Chrome Books, Adaptive Playground Equipment, Teacher Allotments, School Equipment, Books for Writing Rally, Recess Equipment, Smart Boards, Library Books, GAGA Ball Pits, Scholarships for High School graduates that are Windsor Alumni, Water Fountains/water bottle refill modifications, Recess Items. Windsor Elementary school is unique in a multitude of ways.
Our school has the largest Special Education Program within AISD elementary schools and our PTA fundraising efforts have assisted in providing classroom and school adaptations to meet the specific sensory and physical needs within the Special Education classrooms as well as adaptive recess equipment.
Our upcoming fundraising event is one of two of our main fundraising efforts. Knight's Night is a carnival event that involves the whole staff and parent participation where we have some free and some paid games, food, and activities for our Windsor families to enjoy. One of the events that we have is a silent auction and a raffle leading up to the event. We are hoping to have a much larger raffle this year and have drawings Monday through Thursday leading up to the Friday Knight's Night Carnival Fundraising Event! We would love a donation from the Dallas Cowboys organization that we can raffle off. We hope that you will consider our organization for a donation!
We are truly blessed with some of the most loving, kind, generous, compassionate, and passionate school staff and parents who all rally around our kids to help them succeed. When you see how much our Teachers and Adminnistrators love our children, us parents, as part of the Windsor PTA, work hard to give back to those who give so so much.
