The mission of Wings Flights of Hope, a non-profit 501(c)(3), is to help people in need of FREE air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes including treatments, surgeries, and transplants. At Wings, we do not want transportation to stand in the way of a patient receiving the best possible treatment available.
Wings Flights of Hope is extremely instrumental for transplant patients because of the short window of opportunity to receive organ transplants. Without the pilots being on call 24/7 for these special missions, patients would often not be able to get to their medical facilities on time. Many passengers are in rural areas without access to large airports which limits the amount of possible flights. Wings Flights of Hope provides flights for individuals with compromised immune systems where commercial flights would not be an option as well.
With this purpose in mind, our volunteer pilots enjoy giving the gift of hope to so many passengers and are honored to be able to give someone a lift when they are down.
