The Wolfe City Youth Sports Association is an organization that represents the young Student Athletes of our Community. The WCYSA offers fundamental sports for children ages 3 to 15 years old. We provide the basic knowledge of all sports and instill teamwork and good sportsmanship into every player. Our children have the right to participate in a safe and healthy environment, the right to proper preparation for participation, and the right to have fun through sports.Our Youth Ball fields are in dire need of repair, the bathrooms and lighting. Our fields are very old and are maintained only by our Youth Sports Organization, We only have 1400 people in our community and half is poverty level most of our players have to use sponsorships from our organization because if we didn't they would not be able to participate. We maintain the fields so that leaves our small youth group with limited resources to make repairs. All of these maintenance issues present a major challenge for the children in our community who enjoy playing ball and participating in organized sports. So we throw an annual Klubbin for Kids Golf Tournament to raise funds to maintain the fields and sponsorships needed.
