The Women’s League of Reading, founded in 1950, is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that sponsors fundraisers to support causes in Reading and the local area. All money raised by the Women’s League is disbursed annually to community groups, foundations, organizations, and families in need.  Over the past five years, the Women’s League donated over $100,000 to the Reading community. This money helped local families in need and fund a variety of educational and social programs including the middle school science teams, scholarships to graduating high school seniors, and YMCA summer camp scholarships. Funds also went to the Reading Fire Department, and Reading Police Department for continued support of their self-defense training program, and to the Reading Public Library for local museum passes. Your donations and donations from other businesses like yours make it possible for the Women’s League to provide this support to organizations within our community.
