The Worcester Jewish Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides the Greater Worcester Community with the highest quality educational, health, wellness, social, and recreational programs for people of all ages guided by Jewish values and culture in an environment that is safe, welcoming and respectful to all.
On March 30, 2019, the Worcester JCC is hosting its annual Gala and Silent Auction. Last year proceeds from this event raised $130,000. Scholarships were provided to 123 area families so that children may participate in youth programming at the JCC, including Summer Camp, Pre-School and After-School Camp. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, or gender. Additionally, $30,000 was granted to senior citizens.
