Worth A Dam was formed to maintain the Martinez Beavers in Alhambra Creek through responsible stewardship, creative problem solving, community involvement, and education. Now worth A Dam educates other cities about how and why to coexist with beaver qhich are important to water quality, biodiversity and fire prevention.
Worth A Dam is an unincorporated association formed in 2008. In January 2014 it became a fiscally sponsored project of ISI.
