Organization's Mission:

At Fenta Nah, our primary mission is to confront the destructive power of the fentanyl epidemic by raising awareness, providing support, and saving lives. We are dedicated to preventing fentanyl overdose-related deaths and helping those affected by this crisis navigate the complexities of life after loss. Our mission is deeply rooted in a personal connection to this cause, born out of the profound pain of losing a beloved child.

Whom We Serve and How:

Raising Awareness: Fenta Nah's core mission is to raise awareness about the devastating impact of fentanyl on individuals and communities. We believe that knowledge is the first line of defense against this deadly substance. We work tirelessly to educate everyone, from parents to young adults, about the dangers of fentanyl and opioid abuse.

Preventing Overdose Deaths: Our organization is committed to equipping individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent fentanyl overdose-related deaths. We achieve this through a multifaceted approach that includes:

Providing Fentanyl Awareness Kits containing essential tools like fentanyl test strips, Naloxone (Narcan), Rescue Breather Barriers, and RFID bracelets that alert our app in the event of a fentanyl/opioid tragedy, whether fatal or non-fatal.

Offering Fentanyl Awareness Classes where our instructors teach participants how to administer Narcan, identify signs of intoxication, and respond effectively to overdoses.

Supporting Grieving Families: We understand the unimaginable struggle faced by families who have lost loved ones to fentanyl. Our organization aims to be their first responders in these tragedies, offering unwavering support and resources for both survival and fatality situations.

We provideĀ Bereavement Support Groups, creating a community of like-minded individuals who understand the pain of losing a loved one to fentanyl/opioid tragedies.

The Fenta Nah's Funeral and College Fund, which assists qualifying families with funeral expenses and establishes college funds for the children left behind.

Youth Outreach and Education: Recognizing the vulnerability of young adults to fentanyl exposure, we partner with local schools, including River City High School, to provide students with opportunities to earn elective credits and community service hours while working with Fenta Nah. Our Youth Outreach Program educates and empowers young individuals to make informed choices about their well-being.

Crisis Hotline Service: We provide a vital crisis hotline service to those in need, ensuring immediate assistance and support for individuals facing fentanyl-related emergencies.

Fenta Nah nonprofit fentanyl awareness organization's mission is to combat the fentanyl epidemic through awareness, prevention, support, and education. We serve individuals and families affected by this crisis, helping them navigate the path to healing, recovery, and a future free from the devastating impact of fentanyl.

Our mission is a tribute to those we have lost, and we are determined to prevent further tragedies and save lives.
