Our Mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in our community by providing them the means to participate in extracurricular activities of their choice. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities despite their financial situation. The lack of financial resources often limits the ability of young people from low-income families to access these activities, which can have a negative impact on their social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Our program funding bridges this gap by partnering with organizations that align with our Mission. We provide funding and resources for a range of extracurricular activities, such as sports, music, arts, and academic clubs. We know that providing access to these activities can help disadvantaged youth develop important life skills, build their self-esteem, and improve their academic performance. We want to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in our community using THEIR passions. Imagine the children who would dance, who would play sports, who would sing, IF they didn’t have to worry about the financial burden.

We know that idle time spent for children is not mentally or physically healthy for them. Extracurricular activities promote positive life skills. Engaging children and youth in activities has an endless list of positive outcomes. Activities promote self-esteem and emotional control. Activities keep kids busy and, on a schedule so that they have less time to seek out drugs or participate in criminal activities.

Activities teach kids to learn how to manage their time and reach goals. They require memorization and organization. These positive outcomes increase the chances for the child to become a successful, productive citizen in our community. This will certainly lead to promoting the health and vitality of our community. It is our goal that every child who wants to participate in extracurricular activities has that opportunity despite their financial means.
