The YMCA of Greater Westfield has been a values-based, mission-driven human services charity. Our mission is to provide our local community with quality programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. At the Y, we ensure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has an opportunity to participate. Neighbors we serve are infants to 90+ years of age and represent diverse cultures and traditions. Our commitment is supporting and assisting individuals and families - over 6,000 persons each year - through childcare, camping, fitness, wellness, aquatics, arts and humanities, teen leadership, swimming, outdoor activities and recreational youth programs.
We are committed to improving the quality of life for all members of our community by providing cause-driven progams for individuals and families, focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. At the Y, we give children the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. We help people from all walks of life build and maintain healthy habits for healthy lives. And, we bring together diverse people and work together to give back to our community.
As a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening our community, we have been working harder than ever to make certain everyone in our community feels cared for and safe. This includes regular assessments of programming, facilities and equipment, and providing continued quality resources and services for all.
